Donations pour in for Manor gran stranded in Benidorm

Gran

The family of a critically-ill Manor grandmother stranded in Benidorm have praised the generosity of people’s donations as they fight to bring her home.

Angela Noriega, 57, fell into a diabetic coma whilst on holiday at the Spanish resort earlier this month, and her family have since been fundraising to charter a special medical flight back to the UK.

Her family say they have been overwhelmed with the generosity people have shown, as donations on their Get Angela Home fundraising page reached over £5000 in just 48 hours.

The grandmother has shown her first signs of improvement and is now breathing without a ventilator according to an update from her step-daughter Stephanie-Louise Pierce on the fundraising page.

The family are still appealing for donations to meet the cost of the flight, which is estimated at between £18,550 and £26,440.
